Kevin S. Pinski, MD
Dr. Kevin Pinski is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Northwestern University. He is in private practice in downtown Chicago, Illinois. He earned his medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School and completed his residency training at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.
Dr. Pinski is a member of many professional organizations including the International Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and he is a Fellow of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. He is the author or co-author of numerous articles and book chapters, and has made more than 100 presentations nationally and internationally.
Dr. Pinski has been profiled in various publications including Who's Who in America, Best Doctors in America, Allure, and Vogue. Recently he was named by the Consumers' Research Council of America and by More Magazine as one of the nation's top cosmetic surgeons. He has also been featured in Chicago Magazine as one of the top Dermatologists in the Chicago area.
Dr. Pinski practices general and cosmetic dermatology. He has a particular interest in facial rejuvenation with Botox, filler substances and liposuction. He is also a national instructor for Botox, Restylane and Juvederm.
Steven Prus, PA-C
Steven Prus is a Physician Assistant who joined our practice in April 2001. He is a 2000 graduate of the Physician Assistant Program at Albany Medical College in Albany, NY.
There he received the Julia L. Freitag Award, which is awarded annually to the graduate attaining the highest level of academic and clinical achievement.
Steven received his Bachelor of Science degree in clinical psychology and pre-medicine from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
He has over 20,000 hours of clinical medical and surgical experience.
He maintains current national certification as a Physician Assistant and holds a physician assistant license in the state of Illinois.

Renata M. Block, MMS, PA-C
Renata M. Block was born and raised in the Chicago area as the first generation daughter of Polish immigrants and speaks fluent Polish. Mrs. Block has a Masters in Medical Science in Physician Assistant studies from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois. Before beginning her education as a Physician Assistant, she received an undergraduate degree with honors in Biology/Pre-Med with dual minors in Chemistry and Psychology from Roosevelt University in Chicago, Illinois.
Mrs. Block is a Board Certified Physician Assistant who has been specializing in dermatology for over 5 years. She has experience in managing and treating acne, rashes, warts, eczema and psoriasis. She is proficient in detecting and treating skin cancers as well as cosmetic procedures including laser hair removal and Thermage. She is an avid believer in patient education and enjoys teaching patients about cosmetics and product use including anti-aging formulations.

Kathryn Payne

Kathryn joined Pinski Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery in 2004. She was hand-picked and personally trained by Dr. Pinski. Years of experience have made Kathryn proficient at treating wrinkles, acne scars, and some pigment irregularities. Kathryn focuses on staying current with the newest techniques to provide the patient with optimal results.
Mary Skau
Product Specialist
Mary joined Pinski Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery in 1989. She has extensive training in general dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, and skin care. Her experience includes years of patient relations and customer service. The knowledge she has received over the years has prepared her for the position of product specialist. Mary is responsive to the patients' needs and concerns regarding their skin care regimen.
